2026 Zurich Classic purse: Payout breakdown, winner's share

It’s Sunday at the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, La., and one golfer has the chance to receive the gift of a lifetime.

The Fitzpatrick Brothers — Matthew and Alex — hold a four-shot lead heading into Sunday’s final round at the Zurich Classic, and the 54-hole leaders of the PGA Tour’s annual team event are staring down the barrel at a potentially life-changing day.

Should Alex Fitzpatrick and Matt Fitzpatrick emerge successfully on Sunday in Louisiana, Alex would see his lifelong dream of PGA Tour membership achieved, in no small thanks to his all-world brother. Thanks to the PGA Tour’s winner’s exemption rules, Alex would earn a chance to play full-time on the big tour with a share of a win on Sunday. It’s an unusual opportunity, and yet the kind of story that seems to arrive each week on the PGA Tour: a player chasing down a life dream in some manner, shape or form.
