The 2025 BMW Championship begins Thursday morning with the first round at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Thursday, including full BMW Championship TV coverage, streaming info and Round 1 tee times.
After a long 2025 season on the PGA Tour, only 50 players are left standing to play in the 2025 BMW Championship, the second stage of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Once the final putt drops Sunday evening at Caves Valley, only the top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings will survive and advance to the Tour Championship at East Lake.
But there’s plenty of other stuff on the line at the BMW, too.
The purse is $20 million, with $3.6 million going to the winner. That’s not the only money at stake. The FedEx Cup bonus payouts changed this year. Now, the top-30 players after the end of the BMW will earn an additional $22.295 million, with $5 million going to the player at the top of the standings (hello, Scottie Scheffler.)
Hear from Rickie Fowler, Bud Cauley and the other TOUR players who battled to make the top 50 as they reflect on their week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The top 50 advanced to the BMW Championship and secured starts in all 2026 Signature Events.
On top of the huge amounts of money, players will be fighting to make the 2025 Ryder Cup, including U.S. captain Keegan Bradley.
