Heading into the final event of the PGA Tour’s regular season, Rickie Fowler is sitting in 61st in the FedEx Cup standings. That means he’s just inside the top 70 that will earn tee times to the first event of the Playoffs, the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
A bad tournament could potentially knock him out of the playoffs, while a great week could help him qualify for the second and third playoff events.
Prior to the 2025 Wyndham Championship, North Carolina native and UNC alum Ben Griffin talks about his memories playing Sedgefield Country Club. Griffin recalls playing the AJGA Junior Invitational as well as college events at Sedgefield.
Fowler will begin the opening round on Thursday at 12:43 p.m. ET alongside Robert MacIntyre and Hideki Matsuyama.
