The 2024 Solheim Cup kicks off Friday, September 13, with the opening day of matches at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Solheim Cup on Friday, including full TV coverage, streaming info and Day 1 matchups and tee times.
Just one year after the dramatic event in Spain, the Solheim Cup returns Friday morning. Last year, the score ended knotted 14-14, with Europe retaining the Cup thanks to their back-to-back victories in 2019 and 2021.
But this year’s event heads back to U.S. soil, where American stars Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu and Rose Zhang will try to take the Cup back in front of boisterous American fans.
Friday’s opening day of action will feature eight matches in total, each featuring two players from the U.S. and two from Europe. The matches will be split into two four-match sessions. One session will be under the four-ball format, with the other session following foursomes rules.
You can watch Friday’s matches at the Solheim Cup on TV via Golf Channel, which will air exclusive coverage beginning at 7 a.m. ET. NBCSports.com will provide a live simulcast for viewers with an active cable subscription.
